The dog bandage for the knee joint has a length of approx. 26 cm and is for a thigh circumference of up to 38 cm. It has a Velcro fastener on the thigh for better adjustment. The bandage is elastic and adapts well to the leg. Since it is made from 100% boiled wool, there is no build-up of heat on the leg underneath. Due to the high adaptability, a largely unrestricted sequence of movements is possible.
It is used to support therapy a. a. Recommended for osteoarthritis, arthritis, torn cruciate ligament, OCD, meniscus injuries, partella diseases and before and after operations.
They are available for the right and left knee.
For a correct fit, the bandage should be pulled over the hind leg from bottom to top. To do this, the knee is first carefully stretched and the bandage is then pulled up over the knee. Then the inner soft tether is passed under the stomach and back over the back and finally attached to the outside of the Velcro fastener. The tether should be just in front of the hip joint.
