The Bion Bandaging Pad Special is intended for therapeutic purposes, such as: B. for open skin injuries, cuts or tears, etc., to support the healing of tendon injuries, but can also be placed on the back or briefly sewn into a horse blanket with a few stitches. The special bandaging pad is made of wool on the outside and has a bion pad of 50 x 40 cm. It is large enough to e.g. B. to be attached to an injured carpal joint including cannon bone. When used correctly, it fits easily around the leg without creating major wrinkles and, with a little practice, can be easily secured with wool bandages.
Only use wool bandages to bandage the Bion Bandaging Pad Special. This is the only way to avoid heat build-up. Please do not use fleece bandages!
Please note that when bandaging the Bionen bandaging pad, the wrapping direction should ALWAYS point backwards, so the Velcro fastener of the wool bandage should always point backwards.
The Bionen bandaging pads can be washed at 20 degrees with wool detergent, but are not suitable for the tumble dryer.
